Refund Policy

In accordance with articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the Consumer Code — Last updated: June 2026

💡 Hauloa's Golden Rule: Received a product you're not satisfied with? We'll refund or replace it, no drama.

Right of withdrawal period: 14 days

In accordance with French law, you have a period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision. See also: Right of withdrawal.

How to return a product?

  1. Contact us at contact@hauloa.com with your order number and the reason ("I am withdrawing" is sufficient).
  2. Receive instructions within 24-48 business hours (return address + return slip if applicable).
  3. Send the product in its original packaging, complete and in a resalable condition.
  4. Refund within 14 days after receipt and verification, using the same payment method.

Condition of returned product

The product must be returned:

  • In its original packaging
  • With all its accessories, instructions, labels
  • Unused (beyond a simple test for verification)

If the product is returned damaged, dirty, or incomplete: a reduction may be applied (Art. L221-23).

Return costs

Return costs are borne by the customer, except in case of:

  • Defective product upon receipt
  • Our error (product not conforming to the order)
  • Hidden defect

In these cases: free return, we will provide a prepaid label.

Refund period and method

  • Period: 14 days max after receipt of the returned product (often within 3-5 days)
  • Method: to the same payment method as the order (credit card, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, etc.)
  • Amount: full product cost + initial shipping costs if the entire order is returned
  • Legal exclusions (Art. L221-28 Consumer Code)

    The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

    • Personalized products (engraving, photo, name, etc.)
    • Sealed products unsealed for hygiene reasons (skincare, cosmetics, headphones, underwear, etc.)
    • Perishable products
    • Unsealed software
    • Digital content provided
    • Special cases

      Product damaged upon delivery

      Photograph the packaging and the product, contact us within 48 hours. Immediate refund or free re-shipment.

      Wrong product received

      Our error: we cover the return AND re-ship the correct product for free.

      Size issue (fashion/clothing)

      Exchange or refund possible if the size is not suitable, within 14 days.

      Legal guarantee (after 14 days)

      Even after the 14-day withdrawal period, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (2 years) and the guarantee against hidden defects. Contact us to assert your rights.

      Dispute: consumer mediator

      If a complaint has not found an amicable solution within 60 days, you can refer the matter to the consumer mediator. Details on our page Consumer Mediation.
